Legal Consultation
Thirty minutes with a lawyer, on the question you have.
Some questions are legal rather than financial: whether a contract clause is enforceable, how to answer a legal notice, whether a non-compete will hold, what a shareholders' agreement actually commits you to.
You get a scheduled call and a written note of what was advised. Verbal legal advice you cannot reconstruct six months later is worth very little, particularly if the point later matters.
Where the matter needs drafting or representation rather than advice, you will be told that on the call rather than after it.
What is included
- A 30-minute scheduled call with a lawyer
- Review of documents sent in advance
- A written summary of the advice
- A clear view on whether it needs more than advice
What we need from you
- Whatever is relevant — the contract, the notice, the correspondence
Questions
What can I use a legal consultation for?
Contract review, a legal notice you have received or want to send, employment questions, shareholder disputes, or a second opinion on advice you already have. If it needs drafting or court representation we will say so, and quote separately.
