DIN Reactivation
Restore a deactivated DIN and unblock your filings.
A DIN is deactivated when the annual DIR-3 KYC is not filed by 30 September. While it is deactivated the holder cannot sign any MCA form — which in a small company usually stops the company's own annual filings as well.
Reactivation means filing the outstanding KYC with a ₹5,000 fee. Where several years have been missed, each is filed in turn.
What is included
- Outstanding DIR-3 KYC filings identified
- KYC filed with the restoration fee
- OTP verification of mobile and email
- DIN status confirmed active
What we need from you
- PAN and Aadhaar of the director
- Active digital signature
- Personal mobile and email for OTP
- Passport, for a foreign national
Questions
How much does it cost to reactivate a DIN?
A government fee of ₹5,000 per DIN, plus the professional fee. If more than one year of KYC was missed, the ₹5,000 covers the restoration rather than being charged per year.
